Behavioral Health Services offers a comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health and substance abuse counseling program which utilizes a holistic approach to wellness.
Behavioral Health Services are available for children, adolescents, adults, families, couples, and groups. Our Behavioral Health Services incorporate evidence based practices that are culturally appropriate and provides services in the community including at Albuquerque Public Schools, Children, Youth and Families Department and other community partners.

Domestic Violence Prevention and Education

First Nations Community HealthSource’s Domestic Violence Prevention and Education provides a range of services aimed at the prevention of domestic violence among Native Americans. In addition to case management to victims of domestic violence, the program provides domestic violence prevention and healthy relationship education sessions to adults and youth.

Tribal Substance Abuse Prevention

First Nations Community HealthSource’s Tribal Substance Abuse Prevention Program provides support to tribes in developing substance abuse programs that meet the needs of their community. This program works collaboratively with contracted tribes in completing assessments of their substance abuse needs and developing an infrastructure and programs to address these needs. Our staff work with key stakeholders to leverage necessary resources to maximize their success. A comprehensive project evaluation is completed to ensure the project’s effectiveness.
